Ocado store spotlight: deli deals, half-price picks and Smart Pass

Ocado is an online-only supermarket. It's the only place to buy M&S Food online, and it also sells its own Ocado Own Range, big brands and plenty of smaller independent labels. Delivery slots run from 5.30am to midnight, and the site lists a £40 minimum order. It suits households who do a big weekly or fortnightly shop online, and anyone who wants M&S food delivered without going to a shop.

What's worth a look

• Buy any 2 for £7 deli: this offer covers M&S deli items such as M&S British Roast Chicken Slices (currently £3.80 each), M&S Quiche Lorraine (currently £4.00) and M&S Collection Outdoor Bred British Ham (currently £3.65). Mixing two of the dearer items gets you the most off. The site says to order by 7 October 2026, with a limit of 18 promotional items per customer.
• Half Price: this section covers health and beauty, household and baby. It currently includes Colgate Total Active Prevention Original Toothpaste 125ml at £3.50 (was £7), Pampers Premium Protection Nappy Pants size 6 at £6 (was £12) and Fairy Platinum Dishwasher Tablets Lemon 96 pack at £13.50 (was £30). It's a good place to stock up on cupboard and bathroom basics.
• Smart Pass Sale: a members-only offers section for anyone with a Smart Pass delivery subscription.
• Ocado Own Range and M&S Food: as well as the offers above, these two ranges are the main reason many people shop with Ocado. Use the Price Promise label to spot products checked against Tesco.com prices.

How to save more

• Plan your first shop around the welcome code. 25OCADO caps the saving at £20, so a first shop of around £80 gets the full benefit.
• Pick the right Smart Pass. The site lists the Anytime pass (delivery any day) from £9.99 a month or £99.99 a year, and the Midweek pass (Tuesday to Thursday) from £4.99 a month or £49.99 a year. If you can take deliveries midweek, the cheaper pass gives you free delivery and access to member sales.
• Hand your bags back. Returning Ocado carrier bags to the driver gets you 10p back for each one, which adds up over a year of weekly shops.
