Tribz is a small London shop with a clear speciality: unlocked 4G and 5G routers. If you get your broadband from a mobile SIM, or want a hotspot for a caravan, a boat or a building site, this is where its stock is strongest. Home gateways such as the Nokia FastMile sit alongside battery-powered hotspots like Netgear's Nighthawk range. There's also a smaller mix of phones, tablets, memory cards and gadgets.

Much of it is preloved, which is where the savings are. Tribz grades used stock in three bands. Pristine is as good as new, sometimes without the box. Cherished shows light signs of use, and Vintage has visible wear but works perfectly. Every item is tested before it goes out. Each grade has its own price, so the 'From' price you see on a listing is the cheapest condition available. Tribz is a trading name of Bulk GSM Ltd, and its team answers the phone on weekdays, which helps when you're not sure a router suits your network.

The choice between a fixed gateway and a mobile hotspot comes down to how you'll use it. A gateway such as the FastMile stays plugged in by a window and replaces a fibre or copper line, with Ethernet ports for a TV box or desktop. A hotspot like the Nighthawk M2, M6 or M6 Pro runs on battery, fits in a bag and shares a connection with a handful of devices wherever you take it. All the routers are sold unlocked, so they'll take a SIM from any network.

What's worth a look

Six picks from the in-stock range, with prices as listed on 15 October 2026.

For a fixed home connection, the Nokia FastMile 3.2 is new, unlocked and has Wi-Fi 6 and two gigabit Ethernet ports, for £350. Note that it comes with an Australian two-pin plug and a UK adapter. If you need something portable, the Nighthawk M2 is a 4G hotspot that starts at £199.99 in preloved condition.

Current offers

  • Free UK shipping on orders over £100, which most routers clear on their own.
  • Much of the router range is on sale against its original price. On the day we checked, the Huawei B618s-66D started at £68.88 (was £150) and the Nighthawk M6 Pro at £450 (was £899).

How to save more

  • Choose the grade carefully. Vintage units are the cheapest and are tested to the same standard; you're only paying less for cosmetic wear.
  • Check what's in the box. Preloved items may come without the retail packaging, and some routers ship with overseas plugs and an adapter, as the product page will say.
  • Most items can be returned within 30 days. If your order came with free shipping, a return pickup costs £9.99, so posting it back yourself by a signed-for service can be cheaper.
