WeeKett is an Edinburgh company that started out with one product: a Wi-Fi kettle you can turn on from your phone or with a quick word to Alexa or Google. The name joins the Scots word 'wee' with 'kettle'. The range now covers a second smart kettle, toasters, pans, a knife set, a kitchen food waste composter and a self-cleaning cat litter box. It suits busy households, tea drinkers who like their water at a set temperature, and new parents preparing formula feeds.

The company was registered in Scotland in 2018 and launched its first smart kettle in the UK in June 2020. It's still a small brand, so the range is short and easy to browse. Each product page sets out the main features clearly, and the support pages explain how to set up the kettle, link it to a smart speaker and share control with others in your household. The kettles work through the Smart Life app, and WeeKett says it will provide security updates for the connected features until at least the end of 2028.
