Accor Plus is the paid membership arm of Accor, the French hotel group behind brands such as Sofitel, Novotel, Mercure, Pullman, Fairmont, Raffles and ibis. It was founded in Sydney in 1994 and sells ALL Accor+ Explorer, a 12-month subscription. Memberships are contracted with AAPC Singapore Pte Ltd, and the site has local versions for Australia, Fiji, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, the UAE and Vietnam, plus a Rest of the World version priced at USD 255 a year or 15,000 Reward Points.
The UK has no site of its own, but the terms say membership is open to any adult who pays the fee in the applicable currency, so UK residents join through Rest of the World. What you can use depends on where you travel. Across Accor hotels worldwide, including in the UK and Europe, members get 15% off the best public rate at participating hotels (some brands are excluded outside Asia Pacific), plus ALL Accor Gold status and 30 status nights a year. The biggest benefits only work in Asia Pacific and the Middle East: two Stay Plus free nights a year, 30% off food and 15% off drinks at more than 1,800 hotel restaurants, member-only Red Hot Rooms and More Escapes packages.
It best suits people who travel to Asia, Australia or the Gulf at least once a year. Rules, exclusions and blackout dates vary by hotel, and memberships renew automatically unless you switch renewal off.
