Books2Door was founded in 2004 by Abdul Thadha, starting as a one-man operation selling second-hand books on eBay. It has since grown into an independent online bookshop based in Leicester, run by Books 2 Door Limited, and says it has served more than a million customers. Its stated aim is to make reading affordable for every household.
The shop sells brand-new, unread books bought in bulk from publishers, and its speciality is box sets and multi-book collections at well below the combined cover price. Children's books are the biggest part of the range, organised by age from baby and board books up to 9 to 14 and teen and young adult, alongside fiction, non-fiction, manga and graphic novels, and some toys and games. At Christmas there are book advent calendars and festive picture book bundles, and there are regular themed collections such as 10 books for £10.
Schools, colleges and libraries can order online or send a purchase order and pay by BACS or cheque within 30 days. For regular buyers there's a PLUS+ delivery membership, a Book Points rewards scheme, a refer-a-friend scheme and a set of multi-buy discount codes published on the site. Gift wrapping is available for a charge per item.
| Delivery | UK standard delivery is £2.99 (2 to 4 working days) on orders under £35, or £1.99 for light orders under 750g; free standard delivery from £35. Orders are dispatched the next working day, and express orders placed before 1.30pm go the same day. International delivery is available for core catalogue items, priced by weight. |

| Returns | Return items within 30 days for a refund. If an item isn't as described, Books2Door will send a replacement or refund and you don't pay return postage; if you simply change your mind, you pay the return postage and the original delivery charge isn't refunded. Book sets can't be split. |

It depends on the code. Many discount codes exclude items that are already reduced, so open Terms on the code before you use it.
Most codes exclude gift cards and items already reduced, and some need a minimum spend or are for new customers only. Open Terms on the code, or tap "Didn't work?" and we'll recheck it.
Every Books2Door code here comes from Books2Door itself: its own daily feed through its official affiliate programme, or its own website. Each offer shows when we last checked it.
Yes. When you buy from Books2Door through our links, Books2Door pays us a commission, and we give 50% of it to the charity or club you choose. We pay each cause its confirmed commission every quarter (Jan, Apr, Jul, Oct), once the shop has confirmed the sale, usually 30 to 90 days after the order.
No. You pay Books2Door's normal price, less any discount. Our commission is paid by Books2Door or its affiliate network, not by you.
