About Doulton

Doulton makes ceramic water filters and sells them direct from its own website. The range includes under sink systems that filter water to a dedicated tap, countertop units, British Berkefeld stainless steel gravity filters, filter bottles, shower heads and a full line of replacement cartridges and spares.

The firm traces its roots to 1826, when John Doulton and partners set up the pottery business that went on to produce ceramic filters. It later supplied a filter for Queen Victoria's household, and today its filters are made and its operations run from Newcastle-under-Lyme in Staffordshire. Products are sold in more than 100 countries.

The shop has a subscription service for replacement filters, a points-based rewards scheme and an online quiz to help you find the right replacement cartridge for your system.
