About EV Cable Shop

EV Cable Shop is a family business in Rainford, St Helens, that sells charging cables and accessories for electric and plug-in hybrid cars. The network listing calls it EV King, and evking.co.uk now forwards to evcableshop.co.uk; EV King is listed as an alternative name for EV Cable Shop Ltd on the site. The founders say the business began in 2018 from a conversation around the dinner table.

The range covers Type 2 to Type 2 cables for home wallboxes and public chargers, Type 1 to Type 2 cables for older cars, adjustable 3-pin 'granny' chargers, tethered and extension cables, plus storage bags and wall brackets. Lengths run from 5 to 20 metres and speeds from 3.6kW up to 22kW three-phase. You can search by make, model or registration to find a cable that suits your car.

Every cable comes with at least a two-year warranty, and delivery is free next working day across the UK mainland. The site also has a blog explaining charging speeds and cable types, which is useful if you are new to EVs.

How to use EV Cable Shop voucher codes

Tap Get code on the offer you want. We copy the code for you and open EV Cable Shop in a new tab.
Check the offer's Terms first: some codes need a minimum spend, are for new customers only, or exclude sale items.
Add what you want to your basket on evcableshop.co.uk.
Go to the checkout and choose your delivery option.
Paste the code into the discount code or promo code box and apply it. Check the discount shows in your order total before you pay.
Didn't work? Tap Didn't work? under the code so we can recheck it, and read why codes fail.

Ways to save at EV Cable Shop

Pick the right speed for your car and charger: a 16A cable is cheaper if your car cannot charge faster than 3.6kW.
Ask for a price match if you find a comparable cable cheaper at another UK retailer.
Compare lengths carefully, as a 5m cable is around £30 less than 10m.
Use Klarna to spread the cost of a pricier 15m or 20m cable.
