About FaceReady
FaceReady is a desktop app for Mac and Windows that sits between your webcam and your video apps. It shows up as a camera in Zoom, Teams, Meet, Slack, Discord, OBS, FaceTime and anything else that lets you pick a camera, and it softens signs of age in the picture live, such as greys, tired eyes and dull skin, while still looking like you.
It's made by Trucode Ltd, a London company, and launched in July 2026. The processing runs on your own computer, using Apple Silicon or a Windows graphics card, so no video is uploaded and there's no account holding your face. On Windows you can also get it from the Microsoft Store.
There's a 7-day free trial with no card needed, although a 'free trial' mark shows on your picture during it. After that it costs $19.99 a month or $119.88 a year, which works out at $9.99 a month. One subscription covers two computers. Prices are in US dollars, with VAT added at checkout where it applies, and there are no refunds, so use the trial to check it works with your setup.
