Fix-A-Floor is a bonding adhesive made for one job: fixing loose, hollow or creaking floors without pulling them up. The product was developed in Florida by a couple who renovated homes, and the brand was registered in 2009. It came to the UK in 2014, when two importers trialled the American product here, and the UK business is now run by Fix-A-Floor UK Ltd from Shirley, Solihull. In 2025 the US brand was bought by Red Devil, Inc., an Oklahoma family firm that makes sealants and repair products.
The idea is simple. You drill a small hole through the grout line, inject the adhesive into the void underneath, weigh the tile down and leave it to cure. It works on ceramic, porcelain, marble and stone tiles as well as wood, laminate, vinyl plank and LVT, and the site says it can be used over underfloor heating. The UK shop sells it in standard 300ml bottles, squeezable tubes, micro precision injector kits and 3.8 or 5 litre tubs for trade jobs, alongside syringe kits, caulking guns, grout and adhesive remover.
The product has won industry awards, including Best Product Innovation from The Tile Association in 2023 and the British Sealants and Adhesives Association's Innovation Initiative in 2025. Delivery is free on UK orders over £10, and orders placed before noon on a weekday normally go out the same day.
