A hollow-sounding or rocking floor tile usually means the adhesive underneath has failed. The normal fix is to break the tile out, scrape the floor and lay a new one, which is messy and fiddly if you can't find a match. Fix-A-Floor takes a different approach: you drill a small hole through the grout line, inject a bonding adhesive into the gap under the tile, weigh it down and let it cure.
The product was developed in Florida and has been sold in the UK since 2014. The UK shop at fixafloor.co.uk is run by Fix-A-Floor UK Ltd in Solihull, and it sells the adhesive itself along with the injectors, syringes, guns and cleaning products that go with it. It works on ceramic, porcelain, marble and stone tiles, and on wood, laminate, vinyl plank and LVT, including floors with underfloor heating. It suits DIYers dealing with one or two problem tiles as well as tilers and flooring fitters who need it by the tub.
The product has picked up a few industry awards along the way, including Best Product Innovation from The Tile Association in 2023 and an innovation award from the British Sealants and Adhesives Association in 2025.

For a one-off repair, the standard 300ml bottle at £12.99 is the starting point. The site says one bottle covers roughly 4 sq ft, though it depends on how deep the void is. If your grout lines are narrow, the micro precision injector version at £14.50 makes it easier to get the adhesive into a small hole without smearing the tile.
Some lines were marked as backordered when we checked, and the shop says they'll ship as soon as they're back in stock, so check the product page before you plan a weekend job around it.
Current offers
- Pro Repair Pack for £46.99 instead of £52.97: three 300ml bottles, a caulking gun, a 2.5mm drill bit, a micro adapter kit and a 60ml syringe kit.
- 10% off when you sign up to the Fix-A-Floor newsletter.
- Free UK delivery on orders over £10, and orders placed before 12 noon Monday to Friday normally go out the same day.
How to save more
- Work out how many tiles are loose before you order. Several bottles at once, or the Pro Repair Pack, usually work out cheaper than topping up later.
- Sign up for the newsletter discount before you check out, rather than after.
- Read the how-to guide first. It explains how to drill without catching the tile edge and how long to leave the weight on, which saves wasting adhesive on a repair that doesn't take.
