About G-STAR
G-STAR, long known as G-Star RAW, is a Dutch denim brand founded by Jos van Tilburg in Amsterdam in 1989, where it is still based. It began life as Gap Star and changed its name as it expanded abroad. It became known for raw, untreated denim in the 1990s, and it has worked with names such as Pharrell Williams, whose Raw for the Oceans range used recycled ocean plastic. US brand owner WHP Global bought the company in 2023.
Jeans are the core of the range, from the long-running 3301 in slim, skinny and straight fits to raw, selvedge and Anatomic denim styles such as the Arc. There are also denim and winter jackets, blazers, overshirts, T-shirts, sweatshirts, knitwear, underwear, shoes and accessories for men and women, plus a kids' range.
The UK site prices in pounds. Standard delivery costs £3.95, is free on orders over £40 and usually takes 5-7 days. Returns within 30 days are free if your order contains a full-price item, while orders of only discounted items have £7.95 taken off the refund. G-STAR has had UK stores, including in London, Cardiff and Edinburgh, and runs a separate outlet site.
