GoTravelhome is the international motorhome rental site of Travelhome, a Dutch travel company based in Geldrop that has specialised in camper holidays since 1986. Rather than owning vehicles, it works with rental firms such as Apollo, Britz, Maui, JUCY, Cruise America, El Monte RV, CanaDream and McRent, giving access to more than 200 pick-up locations in over 25 countries.
You can compare campervans and motorhomes in Australia, New Zealand, the USA, Canada, Europe and southern Africa, including Namibia, Botswana and South Africa. The site covers everything from compact two-berth vans to family RVs, alcove and integrated motorhomes, pickup campers and 4WD vehicles, with live availability on most vehicles. It also publishes destination guides and suggested routes, and can help arrange flights and hotels around the rental.
Bookings are made with Travelhome B.V., a member of the Dutch ANVR and the SGR travel guarantee fund, which protects prepaid money if a supplier goes bust. Payment is by Visa or Mastercard only, with a 20% deposit at booking, and the rental company will want a credit card in the lead driver's name for the security deposit at pick-up. Cancellation charges rise in steps as departure gets closer, so read the conditions on your quote. Customer service is in English from the Netherlands.
