iLapothecary was founded by Denise, a nurse who spent thirty years working in wellness and developed the brand's formulas, combining aromatherapy, herbal and plant ingredients. The company, ILA Pothecary Limited, was incorporated in May 2018 and is registered at 99 Kensington Church Street in London, which is also the address of its flagship store. After Denise's death, a small group of friends has taken the brand on and continued her approach, rebuilding production and expanding into new markets.
The range covers face care, body care, hair care, wellbeing and products for the home. The best-known line is Beat The Blues, which includes a room spray, reed diffuser, candle, shower and bath oil, body oil, pulse point roller and an eau de parfum. Other products include SOS Body Balm, Calm Butterfly's Soothing Balm, Supreme Silk Face Cream, Vitamin Rich A, C, D & E Face Oil and a Magnesium & Amethyst bath soak with a refill option. The brand says its products are undiluted with no water fillers and that they are not tested on animals, though several are listed as not suitable for vegans.
Alongside its own website, iLapothecary is sold through retailers including Sephora UK, Lookfantastic, Cult Beauty, Net-A-Porter, Goop and Fortnum & Mason, as well as hotels and spas. The London store is open daily and offers bookable treatments such as a Beat Blues back massage and a digital detox session.

Which? says the new iPhone Duo costs about £170 more through the big networks than on Apple's 0% plan, before airtime rises. We've compared the total cost of a network deal with buying the phone and going SIM-only.
