isubscribe is a London-based subscription marketplace that launched in 2000 and calls itself the UK's original and largest. It works directly with more than 800 publishers and subscription box makers, and says over a million subscriptions have been bought through the site. The company behind it, isubscribe Ltd, is registered in England and also runs sister sites in Australia and New Zealand.
The range covers more than 3,000 subscriptions across almost every interest: weeklies such as Radio Times, HELLO! and The Spectator, monthlies like Good Food, Good Housekeeping and National Geographic, children's titles such as The Phoenix and National Geographic Kids, plus craft, hobby, motoring, music and trade magazines. There are digital editions supplied through Zinio, newspapers, bookazines, memberships and subscription boxes, including baking kits and craft boxes. isubscribe says the average saving on a magazine subscription is 35% against the shop price.
Prices include delivery, and many titles come with a free gift or a low-cost trial such as five issues for £5, usually followed by a Direct Debit. Deliveries come straight from each publisher, so the first issue can take a few weeks to arrive. Subscriptions make easy gifts, and you can send a free personalised e-card or buy an emailed gift voucher.
| Delivery | All prices include delivery. Publishers send the magazines: allow 2 to 4 weeks for the first weekly issue, 4 to 6 weeks for monthlies and 6 to 8 weeks for bi-monthlies. Free gifts are sent separately. International delivery is available on many titles. |
|---|---|
| Returns | Full refund if you cancel within 48 hours of ordering. After that, cancellations and refunds are at the publisher's discretion. Direct Debit subscriptions have a 12-month minimum term. |
| Loyalty scheme | isubscribe Rewards: 250 points (£2.50 credit) for completing your profile, then 5 points per £1 spent; points never expire and can't be used on Direct Debit subscriptions. |
|---|---|
| Ways to pay | Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Direct Debit on some titles, One4all gift cards and isubscribe gift vouchers. |
