About JerkFit
JerkFit is a family business based in Charleston, South Carolina, run by husband and wife Jeff and Kristina. Its story starts with a pair of gloves: Jeff kept tearing his hands doing CrossFit, so Kristina, a stuntwoman with a design background, made him a glove that protected his palms and supported his wrists. His gym mates ordered nine pairs before the end of class, and JerkFit grew from there. The name comes from the jerk, the lift that drives the bar overhead, which the brand uses as shorthand for raising the bar.
WODies, its wrist-wrap gloves, are still the signature product, alongside Liberty Grips and leather RAW Grips for gymnastics work on the rig, Nubs thumb and finger sleeves for the hook grip, Death Grips heavy lifting straps, knee sleeves, weight belts, jump ropes, accessories and men's and women's apparel. Combo kits bundle several items together at a lower price than buying them separately. The brand says it keeps its products made in America.
JerkFit is US-based and ships worldwide, including to the UK. Prices are shown in US dollars, and international shipping is free on orders over $125; otherwise you pay for First Class (untracked), Priority, Express or DHL delivery.
