About Jovonna London
Jovonna London is an independent womenswear label founded in 2007 and still family owned and run. Its creative director, Jojo, designs every piece in her studio in Battersea, aiming for what the brand calls a transitional wardrobe: classic shapes with modern tailoring and the odd bit of embellishment, made to be worn for years rather than one season.
The range is strongest on outerwear, with trench coats, wool-blend coats, capes and tailored jackets, alongside knitwear such as the Brighton jumper, dresses, blouses, skirts and a newer jewellery line. The brand favours natural fibres such as wool, linen and cotton where it can, turns leftover fabric into accessories and totes, and supports Smart Works, the charity that helps unemployed women get ready for job interviews.
As well as the website, Jovonna has four London shops: George Street in Marylebone, two on Portobello Road in Notting Hill, and Lamb Street in Shoreditch. Online prices are in pounds, UK delivery is by DPD, and orders to the USA, EU and Australia are shown with duties and taxes included.
