Kate Backdrop is a photography backdrop brand founded in 2013 by a photographer named David, who registered the Kate trademark in 2015. The UK site is one of several regional shops; its terms name KACKOOL Hong Kong E-Commerce Co Limited as the operator, and its contact page lists Suzhou Pitt Trading Co., Ltd in Suzhou, China. Prices are shown in pounds sterling, and delivery to the UK takes around 7 to 12 business days after production.
The range is huge. There are printed microfibre backdrops for every season and occasion, from Christmas and Halloween to cake smashes, newborn shoots, weddings and birthdays, many created with named photographers and designers. You'll also find seamless paper rolls, collapsible pop-up backdrops for headshots and video calls, fleece and vinyl backdrops, rubber floor mats, hand-painted canvases and combination room sets. Equipment includes backdrop stands, frame kits, reflectors and photo props.
Kate also prints custom backdrops and floors to your own design. The Mix & Match collection lets you pick any two eligible 8x6ft backdrops for £99, and a rewards programme gives points on orders.
