Loving Tan is a self-tan brand started in Brisbane, Australia, in 2010 by Joanna, then a 28-year-old lawyer who missed her weekly spray tan and couldn't find a home tan that matched salon results. It calls its formula professional-strength self-tan, made to give a deep colour in one layer. The brand is now part of Soleil Collective LLC and sells through regional online stores, including a dedicated UK site.
The range is built around two lines. The 2 HR Express products are rinse-off tans: you wash off the guide colour after two hours and the tan keeps developing for up to 24 hours. The 8 HR Deluxe line is for longer, overnight-style development, and there are gradual lotions for building colour slowly. Most come in Medium, Dark or Ultra Dark shades, and there are face creams and serums, a tan remover and application tools such as the velour Applicator Mitt and Flawless brushes. You can also build your own kit.
