About NO GUNK
NO GUNK is a small London-based grooming brand set up by founder Sal Essa, who started it at 21 after years of fighting with gel and sticky waxes. The idea is styling products made with natural and organic ingredients that hold your hair without leaving a greasy residue on your hands. Its Styling Funk hair wax won Best Male Hair Product at the PURE Beauty Awards in 2018.
The range is short and focused: Matte Lava Clay for a strong matte hold, Styling Funk wax (which also works as a beard balm), Funky Flex Cream for a softer textured look, a sea salt spray pre-styler, a scalp exfoliator, a fig barbary oil shampoo, plus combs, a grooming bag and gift sets. Most styling products are £14.99 and are made in the UK. The brand says its products are cruelty-free.
UK delivery is free over £50, otherwise £3.99 by Royal Mail Tracked 48, with faster options available. The NO GUNK Promise lets you return a product, new or used, within 14 days for a refund if it isn't for you, on the first purchase of that product.
