About Pixie Dixie
Pixie Dixie is a small, family-run children's nightwear label based in Manchester. It makes crew neck pyjamas, traditional nightdresses, baby sleepsuits and double-thickness blankets, each in a run of playful prints such as dinosaurs, tractors, trains, clouds, bees and unicorns.
The brand was taken over in 2021 and relaunched in 2022 with UK manufacturing at its centre. Its Made in the UK range is produced with British suppliers for the fabric, trims and packaging, and the shop says each garment travels less than 200 miles before it is posted. The cotton is treated with Micro-Fresh, which the brand describes as keeping nightwear feeling fresh between washes, and pieces are designed to be tumble-dried and worn without ironing.
Sizes generally run from 1-2 years up to 9-10 years, with sleepsuits for babies. Pyjamas are £30 and sleepsuits £20 at full price, and the shop also sells a Paint Your Own PJs kit, made in Turkey, with plain white pyjamas, fabric paints and a brush. Orders are sent from Manchester by Evri or Royal Mail, and an express option is offered for delivery in one to two working days.
