About Queendancer
Queendancer is an online occasion-wear shop that says it was set up in late 2017. Its contact address is in Suzhou, Jiangsu, in China, and it runs separate storefronts for the UK, US, Australia and France. The UK site shows prices in pounds and sizes in UK numbers, and many dresses can also be ordered in a custom size for an extra charge.
The range is mainly dresses for big nights out: prom and formal gowns, sparkly sequin and metallic styles, black-tie and gala dresses, homecoming and graduation dresses, wedding-guest and bridesmaid dresses, mother-of-the-bride outfits and simple wedding dresses. It's also known for its 1920s section of Gatsby-style fringed flapper dresses, with headpieces, gloves and other accessories to match. There's a smaller menswear section with suits, waistcoats and shirts.
Dresses are tailored after you order, so allow time: the product pages quote 7 to 12 days of tailoring before dispatch, then 8 to 12 working days for standard delivery (£10.88) or 3 to 7 for express (£18.88). Customs charges are rare but are the buyer's responsibility. Returns are tight, at 7 business days from delivery and at your own cost, with restocking fees on multi-item returns and no returns on sale, custom or clearance items.
