About Ready Steady Bed

Ready Steady Bed is a children's soft furnishings brand based in Birmingham, trading since 2006; the current limited company was registered in 2012. It designs and makes its products in-house, printing fabrics and sewing them in its own UK factory before sending them direct to customers.

The range is built around kids' sleepovers and playrooms. There are fold-out Z beds that work as a chair by day and a guest mattress at night, including water-resistant versions, plus kids' bean bag chairs, bean bag armchairs with footstools, round bean bags with carry handles, and bundles that pair a chair with a Z bed. Larger items include indoor and outdoor play sofas, the modular foam couches children can rearrange into dens and obstacle courses. Many designs come in a choice of prints so items can match.

Delivery is free throughout mainland UK, with courier and tracking details emailed on dispatch. Some products have longer lead times, shown on the product page. Unused items in their original packaging can be returned within 14 days of delivery; you need to contact the company first, and return postage is your responsibility unless the item is faulty. The company also offers wholesale supply.

Ways to save at Ready Steady Bed

Subscribe to the newsletter for 10% off your first purchase.
Look at the chair and Z bed bundles, which cost less than buying the two items separately.
Many items show a reduced price against the original, so compare prints, as the same design can be listed more than once.
Add play sofa buttons later if you need replacements, rather than buying a new sofa.
