Stewart Golf is a family-owned British company that designs and hand-builds electric golf trolleys in Gloucestershire. Its first remote-control trolley, the X1R, launched in 2003, and the company behind it, Stewart Golf Limited, was incorporated that December and is based at Waterwells Business Park in Quedgeley, Gloucester. It also has a facility in Houston, Texas.
The range is built around two ideas. Follow trolleys, introduced in 2014, track you hands-free as you walk the course, and the Q Follow is the current flagship, with a carbon-finish version on top. Remote trolleys, led by the VERTX Remote, are steered with a handset, and the VERTX adjusts to slopes as it goes. Trolleys fold down compactly, come in a choice of colours and battery sizes, and are designed for golfers who walk their rounds.
Alongside the trolleys you'll find cart and hybrid bags made to fit them, accessories such as umbrella holders, phone mounts and winter wheels, a large stock of spare parts, and battery, handset and trolley servicing. There's also an Approved Refurbished range of serviced and tested trolleys at lower prices, sold with a 12-month warranty. New trolleys bought direct come with a 30-day trial and a two-year warranty.
