SweetCare is an online beauty and wellness retailer from Portugal. It was founded in 2008 by Susana Guimarães and Sérgio Faria, a couple with a background in architecture, design and online selling, and it is run by SweetCare, Serviços e Produtos de Saúde, Lda, which is based in Porto. It was one of the first online shops in Portugal to sell several beauty categories in one place.
The range covers skincare and dermocosmetics, haircare, make-up, perfume and wellbeing products from hundreds of brands, from big international names to smaller niche labels. SweetCare sells through two sites, sweetcare.pt for Portugal and sweetcare.com for international shoppers, and it offers help in several languages. It also publishes beauty advice on its SweetMag blog.
The company has appeared in the Financial Times' lists of Europe's fastest-growing companies and in Deloitte's Technology Fast 50 for Portugal. We couldn't load SweetCare's website when we checked, because it blocked our automated visit, so we haven't been able to confirm its delivery charges to the UK, which currency it charges in or its returns terms.
