About Tinkerer
Tinkerer, also known as Tinkerer STEAM Box, sends children a new box of hands-on science, technology, engineering, arts and maths projects every month. In the UK it is run by Tinkererbox UK Limited, a company registered in England in 2022 with an address on City Road, London. The brand also operates in Hong Kong and other markets.
There are three age ranges. The Wonder Box is for ages 3 to 5 and mixes craft projects with an activity book and, in some boxes, a phonics picture book. The Odyssey Box covers ages 6 to 8 with topics like light, sound and forces, and the Explore Box gives ages 9 to 12 more involved engineering builds. Each box follows a different theme.
Subscriptions renew automatically and can be paused, switched or cancelled. The first box ships within three working days of ordering, and later boxes are sent in the second half of each month. The UK shipping page lists a free standard delivery option.
