About Told London
Told London is a small British fragrance house founded by Lillie and Christopher Edgar and launched in 2025. Lillie grew up in the Seychelles with family ties to India, Chris in Northern Ireland, and the pair met at the University of Aberdeen before building careers in London and later retraining in interiors and garden design. Each of their fragrances is built around a place that matters to them.
The current Wanderings Collection has six scents: City Grandeur, London; Glorious Gardens, England; Highland Retreat, Scotland; Dancing Light, Lake Como; Island Breeze, Seychelles; and Night Blooms, India. Every one comes as a 300g candle, an 80g candle and a 200ml reed diffuser, held in porcelain illustrated by Kerry Lemon. The fragrances are composed with established perfumery houses, and the candles are hand-poured in England from soy wax.
The porcelain is meant to be kept. Candle refills come wrapped in an illustrated cotton bag and diffuser refills arrive with fresh reeds, and both cost less than buying the vessel again. The brand lists several 2025 and 2026 industry awards on its site. UK delivery is free on orders of £60 or more, and it also ships to Europe and other markets.
