Told London is a British home fragrance brand founded by Lillie and Christopher Edgar and launched in 2025. Each scent is drawn from a place in their lives, from a London park to the Seychelles, and is held in white porcelain hand-illustrated by Kerry Lemon. It suits anyone buying a special gift, or anyone who likes the idea of a candle vessel that stays on the shelf for years rather than going in the recycling.

The Wanderings Collection has six fragrances, grouped into Fresh, Floral and Amber families. City Grandeur, London mixes Earl Grey, citrus and rosemary; Dancing Light, Lake Como is fig leaf and wisteria; Night Blooms, India is pomegranate, jasmine and clove. Every scent comes as a 300g candle, an 80g candle and a 200ml reed diffuser, and the candles are hand-poured in England from soy wax.

What's worth a look

Here's a spread across the formats, with prices as shown on the site today.

The Night Blooms, India 300g candle at £70 is the full statement piece, with a burn time of more than 60 hours. If you're not sure about a scent, the 80g candles at £25 are the cheapest way to try one. And once you own the porcelain, the refills are where the brand makes sense: a 300g candle refill is £40 and a diffuser refill with fresh reeds is £45.

If you're choosing for someone else, the FAQ is genuinely helpful. It suggests the Fresh scents for kitchens and studies, the Floral ones for living rooms and bedrooms, and the Amber pair for evenings, and notes that Highland Retreat and Night Blooms are the strongest of the six. The diffusers use a 200ml porcelain bottle with reeds, so you can tone the scent down by using fewer reeds. Every vessel has a different illustration tied to its scent's story, which is why people tend to keep them once the candle has burned down.
