FormAdore is an online design shop for the home. It sells kitchenware, tableware, lighting, decorations, bedding, bathroom bits and small furniture from more than 170 brands, with names such as Alessi, Koziol, Normann Copenhagen, Eva Solo, HAY, Villeroy & Boch and Brabantia among them. It says it has been going since 2005, and the UK site is run by FORMADE, a business based in Warsaw, with prices in pounds including VAT and a UK returns address.

It suits anyone furnishing a kitchen or living room with recognisable design pieces, and people hunting for a present: the gifts section is sorted by occasion and by who it's for, and there are e-gift cards from £20 to £500 that arrive straight away.

What's worth a look

Six things from across the range, from design classics to a cupboard staple:

The two Alessi pieces are the famous ones: Philippe Starck's Juicy Salif squeezer at £76.29 and Michael Graves' 9093 kettle at £144.10, which FormAdore notes is the best-selling product in Alessi's history. For everyday cooking, the 24 cm Eva Trio ceramic-coated pan is £50.31 at the moment, down from £86.74, and works on induction. The New Norm tea brewer from Audo Copenhagen, also reduced, has a steel basket you lift out of the glass pot on a silicone strap to stop the tea stewing. If you want something smaller, a 100 g can of Kusmi's Prince Vladimir tea is £14.00.
