About Venchi
Venchi is an Italian chocolate and gelato company with roots going back to 1878, when a 20-year-old Silviano Venchi began experimenting with chocolate in a small Turin workshop. Its Nougatine, caramelised hazelnuts in a 60% dark chocolate shell, dates from 1922 and is still made to the same recipe. Today the business is based in Castelletto Stura near Cuneo in Piedmont, and its shops, known as Chocogelaterie, sell fresh gelato alongside chocolate.
The brand's best-known line is Chocoviar, launched in 2004: chocolates coated in crunchy chocolate pearls, sold in five-piece bags in flavours such as pistachio, gianduia, crème brûlée, orange and the new mango and nougatine. The UK site also stocks Cremino layered chocolates, bars, spreads, hot chocolate, chocolate cigars, and no-added-sugar, vegan and gluten-free ranges, plus a large seasonal gift section with tins, hampers and advent calendars.
Venchi opened in London in 2012 and says it now runs more than 200 shops in over 70 countries. Orders from uk.venchi.com are priced in pounds and shipped duty paid, with free UK delivery on orders over £59. The free V-CLUB loyalty scheme earns Chocoviar points that unlock permanent discounts of 5% to 15%.
Venchi delivery and returns
| Delivery | Free UK delivery on orders over £59, otherwise £5.95. Orders placed before 2pm Monday to Thursday usually arrive in 1 to 2 working days; in warmer months parcels ship Monday to Thursday only, with ice packs. |
