CateredSkiChalets.com is the English-language name of Skichalets.nl, a Dutch company that has run catered ski chalets since 1993. It's an independent operator with a small group of its own chalets in Austria, France and Italy, and it has won a Dutch award for best winter sports holiday company four years running. Bookings are protected by the Dutch travel guarantee fund SGR, so your money is refunded if the company goes bust.

The appeal is the all-inclusive formula. English-speaking chalet staff cook breakfast, afternoon tea and a three-course dinner, breakfast is served even on the staff's day off, and drinks are free all day, including beer, house wine, soft drinks and coffee. It suits groups who want a chalet to themselves, families (cots and high chairs are provided) and couples happy to share a chalet by booking a room.

What's worth a look

The company's five chalets and its room-only option on 12 October 2026, with the lowest weekly price per person shown in euros.

The cheapest is Chalet Dengg in Gerlos in the Zillertal Arena, from €490 per person a week, sitting beside the piste with a cross-country trail a few metres away. At the other end, Alpkristall in St Anton is ski-in, ski-out right by the gondola, from €920.

For the Three Valleys, Chalet Blanchot in Les Menuires has the blue piste at the door, an outdoor hot tub and a sauna. Selva Panorama in Val Gardena puts you in the Dolomites, with a free ski bus stopping outside.

Every chalet price includes the catering, drinks, bed linen and towels, cleaning and your own chalet staff, so the main extras to budget for are travel, lift passes, ski hire and lessons. The company can arrange airport transfers, ski and board hire, lift passes and lessons for you. To book, you pay a 25% deposit plus a €35 booking charge and a €10 contribution to the SGR fund, with the balance due later. Booking within six weeks of arrival means paying in full straight away.

How to save more

  • Pay by bank transfer: paying by credit card online adds 2%.
