Coco & Coir: peat-free compost blocks, coir doormats and garden kit

Coco & Coir sells gardening and home products made from coir, the fibre from coconut husks that is left over once the coconuts are harvested. Its best-known products are peat-free composts sold as compressed blocks. You put a block in a container, add warm water and it swells into loose compost, so a small, light box does the job of a much heavier bag. The range suits balcony and houseplant growers short on storage, allotment holders, and anyone who has decided to go peat-free.

Alongside compost there are coir doormats in dozens of designs, biodegradable plant pots, basket liners, mulch, microgreens kits and coconut shell barbecue charcoal.
