Coco & Coir makes gardening and home products from coconut husk fibre, known as coir, which is a by-product of the coconut industry. Its main line is peat-free compost sold as compressed blocks: you add warm water and the block expands into loose compost, so a light box replaces a heavy bag. The coir comes from India and the company says it is washed three times before packing.
The range covers specialist composts for houseplants, orchids, cacti and citrus, all-purpose and seed composts, coir mulch and the Harmony Gardens bagged compost line. Beyond the garden it sells hard-wearing coir doormats in dozens of printed and shaped designs, biodegradable coir plant pots, hanging basket liners, microgreens growing kits and coconut shell BBQ charcoal.
The brand was run by Southern Trident Ltd of Scunthorpe, which also supplies garden centres. Companies House shows that company entered administration on 27 July 2026, although the website was still taking orders when checked in October 2026. Customers who register an account earn loyalty points on purchases, and orders over £30 ship free.
