Collagen Superdose is a range of fruit-flavoured liquid collagen supplements launched in 2020 by Minerva Research Labs, the London company that also makes Gold Collagen. Instead of single-dose bottles, each product comes in a 300ml glass bottle with a measuring spoon, and you take 10ml a day, or two spoonfuls if you prefer, on its own or stirred into water or juice.

It suits anyone who wants a collagen supplement but doesn't get on with powders or capsules, and who'd like to keep the daily cost low. There are three liquids and three tablet products, and each combines collagen with a list of vitamins, minerals and other ingredients. The shop only delivers to UK addresses.

What's worth a look

The three liquids are each 30 servings. Skin Care is peach flavoured and uses marine collagen with vitamin C, zinc, biotin and hyaluronic acid. Joint Health is the odd one out: it uses bovine collagen, with glucosamine, MSM, chondroitin, ginger extract and vitamin D, in a mango and orange flavour. The site doesn't show prices for the three tablet products, which also come free as a welcome gift with a first subscription.

Check the ingredients before you choose. The marine products contain fish, Skin Care also lists crustaceans and soy, and none of the liquids is suitable for vegetarians or vegans. The brand says the range is suitable for a halal diet.
