Kippy is an Italian pet tech brand that makes GPS trackers for dogs and cats. It started in Milan in 2013 to help owners find pets that had wandered off, and since 2023 it has been part of Datamars, a Swiss pet identification company that also owns PetLink. The shop sells just two trackers, a couple of accessories and the subscription plans that make them work.

Before anything else, a word on where it sells. Kippy's online shop has storefronts for EU countries and Switzerland, with prices in euros and free delivery across the EU. There's no UK storefront, so UK-based owners can't order for delivery here. The tracker does roam on UK networks (3, Vodafone and O2), so it suits EU-based readers, and anyone with an EU address who travels to the UK with their dog.

Each tracker has its own SIM card, so you buy a subscription when you activate it. That pays for the data and lets you watch your pet live in the free app, look back over where they've been, and get an alert when they leave a safe zone you've drawn around home or the park. The app also gives a daily activity and rest picture, and you can link up to five trackers to one account.

What's worth a look

Everything Kippy sells, with the prices on its EU English storefront on 9 October 2026 (in euros).

The Kippy Dog GPS Tracker weighs 29.6g, is waterproof to IP67 and lasts up to 12 days on a charge depending on use, with a sound and a light to help you find your dog in the dark. The Kippy CAT version comes on a breakaway collar that releases under pressure. Both are currently €48.99, down from €69.99.

Don't forget the running cost. The subscription plans are €69.99 for one year, €99.99 for two or €199.99 for five, all paid up front, or €10.99 a month with a four-month minimum. Kippy says most owners choose the two-year plan.

Current offers

• Trackers marked down: Kippy Dog and Kippy CAT are both €48.99, from €69.99.
• Accessories reduced: the adjustable dog collar is €7.00 (was €19.99) and the green silicone cover €5.99 (was €9.99).
• Codes listed with us: we have two codes, AWIN20 and GPS20, for 20% off the device. Check that the discount shows in your basket before you pay.
• Free EU delivery and a 30-day trial: if the tracker doesn't suit your pet, Kippy says it will refund you.

How to save more

• Work out the full cost before you buy. A tracker plus two years of service comes to about €149 at today's prices, so the longer plan is much better value than paying monthly for years.
• Use the 30-day trial to test coverage on your usual walks before you commit to a five-year plan.
• Read the terms on cancelling a subscription: you can cancel within 30 days, but you pay for the service you've used, and after that the fee isn't refundable.
