Lopesan Hotels is the hotel group of the López family from Gran Canaria. It started in hotels in 1991 and opened its own first resort, Lopesan Costa Meloneras, in 2000. Most of its hotels sit in the sunny south of Gran Canaria, between Meloneras, Maspalomas, Playa del Inglés and San Agustín, with two more at Jandía in Fuerteventura and four all-inclusive resorts at Playa Bávaro in Punta Cana. It also runs IFA holiday hotels in Germany and Austria.

It suits anyone after winter sun in the Canaries, from couples looking for an adults-only hotel to families who want big pools and kids' clubs. Prices on lopesan.com are in euros (some Punta Cana listings show US dollars), and you book direct with Lopesan rather than through a tour operator, so flights are arranged separately.

What's worth a look

Here are six Lopesan hotels, with the "from" nightly prices each hotel page showed for the coming months.

Lopesan Costa Meloneras Resort & Spa is the group's flagship, with more than 1,100 rooms built in the style of a Canarian colonial estate, an infinity pool and the Om Spa. If you'd rather spend less, Kumara Serenoa is a smaller four-star hotel next to the Maspalomas dunes and golf course, with family areas and adults-only corners.

Current offers

Lopesan's offers change with the seasons. We already list the Autumn's Call deal, with up to 30% off Canary Islands stays (the offers page shows 15% to 30% off for stays up to 31 October 2026), a Winter Sale with up to 20% off Canary Islands stays, up to 30% off at Lopesan Costa Meloneras, a Last Call for Summer deal with up to 30% off in Punta Cana and the Ready for Summer 2026 early booking offer of up to 40% off.

On top of those, the Luxury for Everyone offer takes up to 40% off the Punta Cana resorts for stays until 20 December 2026 (40% at Splash Cove and 20% at Caoba Lagoon when we checked), and Costa Meloneras is running a flash sale with an extra 20% off.

How to save more

• Compare the per-person offer prices on the offers page with the per-night prices on each hotel page. The offers page lets you sort by price, which makes it easy to spot cheaper hotels such as Abora Buenaventura.
• Think about flexibility before you pay. Standard bookings can usually be cancelled free until 6pm the day before arrival, but prepaid online rates are non-refundable, even if they're cheaper.
• Look beyond Meloneras. The Abora and Corallium hotels in Playa del Inglés and San Agustín often carry bigger percentage discounts than the flagship resorts.

Products, prices and offers checked on the store's own website on 19 Oct 2026. Prices and stock can change.
