Online Bedrooms: made-to-measure wardrobes and media walls, flat-packed

Online Bedrooms makes fitted bedroom furniture to measure in its own factory in Nottinghamshire and sells it straight to you, flat-packed for you or your own fitter to put together. Cutting out the showroom and the fitting team is how it keeps prices down. It suits people with an awkward alcove, a chimney breast, a sloping ceiling or a bare wall waiting for a media unit, who are happy to measure up and either build it themselves or hire someone.

The main ranges are fitted and walk-in wardrobes and media walls, with or without an electric fire. There are also freestanding wardrobes, chests of drawers, dressing tables, home office furniture, boot rooms and laundry cabinets. Drawers and doors are soft-close as standard, the cabinetry has a 15-year warranty, and you can order free colour samples. You send your measurements, a designer draws up a quote, and the furniture is made to order and normally delivered two to four weeks after you pay.

What's worth a look

Six picks from the shop, with the prices it showed on 13 October 2026. Most pieces are made to your size, so these are starting prices.

Media walls are where the biggest savings are at the moment. The Blyth smooth base unit from £641.94 is the simplest way to build one: a long, low unit with hidden storage for screens up to 130 inches. The Colston floating unit adds a 40-inch electric fire and is wall-mounted, which keeps the floor clear.

If you'd rather not deal with a full fitted wardrobe, the Linby 2 Door Wardrobe from £471.82 is freestanding but still made to order in a choice of widths and finishes.

For a fitted wardrobe, the 2 door handleless front frame wardrobe at £944.73 fills a gap between 800mm and 1400mm wide. Larger wall-to-wall or walk-in designs are priced by quote, and you can upload your own sketch to get one.

Current offers

• 30% off all media wall units, already reflected in the prices on the site.
• 25% off all fitted wardrobes.
• Extra 10% off online orders with code MM77XVYAWFSQ.
• The offers page also lists clearance pieces at up to 55% off, such as a three-drawer chest from £229.63 (was £510.30).

How to save more

• Order the free colour samples first. Made-to-measure furniture can't be returned for a change of mind, so it's worth seeing the finish in your own light.
• Delivery is free on most orders over £1,499. Scotland and PL, TR and TQ postcodes pay £199, so check this before comparing prices.
• After you've paid, use the free re-measure option. Send updated measurements and the team checks them against your design before anything is cut.
