Pininfarina is the Italian design house founded in 1930 and famous for its car designs. Its name now also appears on a range of hybrid smartwatches, made and sold under licence by Globics Technology, a Hong Kong company. The UK shop sells them direct, priced in pounds, with free delivery and a two-year warranty on every watch.

A hybrid watch looks like a traditional analogue watch but hides health tracking inside. Every PURA watch shares the same 38mm 316L stainless steel case, Gorilla Glass lens, 5 ATM water resistance and genuine Italian leather strap, and each finish costs £229. So choosing is mostly about looks: the Nero Steel is the understated option, while the gold finishes are dressier.

The one to know about is the PURA Capri Verde special edition, inspired by the island of Capri and limited to 100 pieces worldwide. It's the same £229 as the standard models.

Orders are usually processed within one business day and come with tracking, and taxes and duties are included in the price for most destinations. Every watch has a two-year warranty, and support is handled by email through the customer support page, which also has setup tips. The main one is to pair the watch through the VITA app rather than your phone's Bluetooth settings.
