Rock Solid Rings is a family-run online jeweller on the Wirral that launched in 2021. It started with the Wonder Ring, a hard-wearing band made mainly from tungsten carbide and tantalum, and has since added engagement rings, eternity rings, chains and bracelets. It's a good fit for couples looking for affordable wedding bands, for anyone who's hard on their jewellery, and for people who've left buying a ring until the last minute.

The Wonder Rings come in plain, inlaid, opal, wood, scratch-proof and special edition designs, and as matching his-and-hers sets. The Dazzle collection uses moissanite stones, and the Sparkling Glitz range has cubic zirconia eternity and stacking rings. Many rings can be engraved, and popular sizes are kept in stock in the UK.

The business focuses on customer service. Wonder Rings come with a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects, and non-engraved rings are covered by a 30-day AnyReason exchange, so you can swap for a different size, colour or design. Rings come in sizes from I to Z+5, with half and quarter sizes on request, and every one arrives in its own box. If you can't find the width or colour you want, most designs can be made to order, which usually takes around two weeks. You can also spread the cost with Clearpay.
