Surya Heating, also trading as Surya IR Heating Systems, is a Leicester-based specialist in infrared heating. It's run by Mirrorstone Heating Limited, which also makes the Mirrorstone-branded panels it sells, and it supplies both homeowners and trade customers across the UK.

The core of the range is infrared panels that plug into an ordinary 13A socket and fix to a wall or ceiling, so they suit rooms without central heating, garden offices, extensions and flats where adding pipework isn't practical. Alongside plain white panels there are mirror, glass and printed image panels, plus bar heaters, patio heaters, electric radiators and heated towel rails.

Delivery is free on every order, normally by FedEx in one to two working days on mainland UK. Custom image panels can take up to ten working days to make, and radiators and towel rails are special-order items that take a few days longer. You can order on the website or by phone, pay by card, PayPal or bank transfer, or collect from the Leicester office. Trade customers can register for a trade account.

What's worth a look

Six heaters from Surya's site on 9 October 2026, with sale prices including VAT.

If you want a heater that doesn't look like one, the Mirrorstone personalised image panel prints your own photo on the front; allow up to ten working days for it to be made. For a covered patio or garage, the Theia bar heater is one of its low-glare models. Prices for the radiator, towel rail and some heaters change with the size, wattage or controls you choose.

Most infrared panels come with a two-year warranty, and the white panel range includes slimline, high-power, portable and hybrid infrared-and-convection models, as well as thermostats and ceiling brackets. The site also has a heating calculator on product pages to help you work out which size suits your room, and the team will advise by phone if you're not sure.

• Returns for change of mind are at your own cost, so phone the team on 0116 321 4124 to check the right wattage for your room before ordering.
