Strings and other small items go out free on orders over £10, as tracked large letters that fit through the letterbox, so there's no waiting in for a parcel.

Beyond strings, the shop carries bows for every instrument from beginner sticks to Finkel and Musing bows for professionals, the full range of French-made BAM cases for strings, brass, woodwind and guitar, and Oldwood varnishes and alcohol colours for makers and repairers. For a first instrument, the Primavera 100 violin outfit comes in sizes from full size down to 1/32, with ebony pegs, a hardwood bow and a backpack-style case, for £139. Pirastro Tonica is a popular synthetic string set at £35.99, and Gustave Bernardel rosin works for violin, viola and cello.
