WEBRE is a seat belt and vehicle safety parts specialist based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire. It sells replacement buckle receivers, complete seat belts, seat belt webbing by the metre and the small fittings that go with them, plus strap buckles for trailers and dog seat belts for the car.

It suits classic car restorers and campervan converters looking for the right belt or buckle, garages and fleet operators replacing worn parts, and DIYers with a broken buckle. Trade customers can open an account for bulk pricing. Prices are in pounds and include VAT.

The catalogue is split into a few clear areas. Seat belt buckles cover blade receivers from 90mm to 185mm, buckles on flexible wire stalks, webbed receivers and electric buckles with a sensor cable for cars that warn when a belt isn't fastened. Seat belts include static and retractable 2-point lap belts, 3-point inertia belts and rock and roll bed belts for campervan conversions. Webbing comes in 47mm seat belt width in a range of colours, sold by length. Then there's the industrial side, with over-centre buckles and ratchet clasps for curtain-sider and trailer straps, and a small pet range of leads and in-car dog restraints.

Many parts come in several lengths and fittings, so it pays to measure what you have first. Each product page lists vehicle compatibility, measurements and a compliance statement. WEBRE also says safety parts should be fitted by a qualified, competent person.

What's worth a look

Six parts and services from the WEBRE shop, with prices as shown on 12 October 2026.

For VW owners, the 2-point static lap belt with a modern buckle is made for the Beetle (1950 to 1971) and T2 Split and Bay buses, at £108. If your belts are frayed but the buckles still work, the re-webbing service keeps your original hardware and fits new webbing, from £60.

Current offers

  • Free standard UK delivery on orders over £50.
  • Next-day delivery to mainland UK on orders placed before 12pm, Monday to Thursday.
  • Trade and fleet accounts with bulk pricing: ask through the contact page.

How to save more

  • Group parts into one order of £50 or more to get free delivery. A pair of buckle receivers and a length of webbing usually gets you there.
  • Check the blade length (90mm, 116mm, 135mm or 185mm) and bolt size of your old buckle before ordering, so you don't pay to send the wrong one back. Unused parts can be returned within 14 days.
  • Pay with Klarna or Clearpay if you want to spread a bigger restoration order.
