About The Alchemy of Skincare
The Alchemy of Skincare is a vegan, cruelty-free skincare brand based in Salford, Greater Manchester. It was founded by Llewelyn, a master aromatherapist who has been developing vegan skincare since 2011, and its products are made in Britain. The brand traded for some years as Buddha Beauty, and long-standing customers still mention that name.
The range covers cleansing balms, gel and cream cleansers, micellar water, serums, facial oils, moisturisers including SPF day creams, masks, eye and lip care, and a small men's line. Alongside the skincare there are body lotions, hair and body washes, bath salts and soap bars, plus a large home fragrance section with reed diffusers, room and pillow sprays, votive and room candles and incense. Most face products sit between about £15 and £40, and there are bundled skincare sets and gift vouchers from £5.
UK delivery is free and orders usually go out on a 48-hour tracked service. The brand also has a shop and treatment room at its Salford premises, so local customers can try textures and scents before they buy.
