About Amazon
Amazon.co.uk is the UK shop of Amazon, the American online retailer. It opened in October 1998, after Amazon bought a UK online bookseller, and has grown from books into one of the country's biggest general stores, with everything from groceries and toys to electronics, fashion, DIY tools and large appliances. As well as Amazon's own stock, a large share of the catalogue comes from independent Marketplace sellers.
Delivery depends on who dispatches the item. Orders that include at least £10 of eligible books dispatched by Amazon get free standard delivery in three to five working days, and other orders show their delivery charge at checkout. Prime members get unlimited One-Day Delivery on eligible items, plus Prime Video, member deals and early access to Lightning Deals. Prime costs £8.99 a month or £95 a year, and students and 18 to 24-year-olds pay £4.49 a month or £47.49 a year.
Most items can be returned within 30 days if they're unused and undamaged, on top of your 14-day legal right to cancel. Parcels can also go to pick-up locations across mainland UK. For bargains, Amazon runs Today's Deals, an Outlet for overstock, Amazon Resale for returned and used items, Subscribe & Save for repeat buys and a Trade-In scheme for old Amazon devices.

- Tap Get code on the offer you want. We copy the code for you and open Amazon in a new tab.
- Check the offer's Terms first: some codes need a minimum spend, are for new customers only, or exclude sale items.
- Add what you want to your basket on amazon.co.uk, or in the Amazon app if the code is app-only.
- At checkout, choose delivery or click & collect. Pick-up locations (collection points) across mainland UK can be chosen at checkout for eligible orders.
- Paste the code into the discount code or promo code box and apply it. Check the discount shows in your order total before you pay.
- Didn't work? Tap Didn't work? under the code so we can recheck it, and read why codes fail.

How do I contact Amazon customer service?
Use the help centre on the Amazon website.
Can I use more than one Amazon discount code?
Usually not: most stores, including Amazon, accept one discount code per order. Automatic deals and sale prices can often be combined with a code, so check the terms on each offer.
Does Amazon offer a first-order discount?
We don't have a first-order code for Amazon right now. Sign up for alerts and we'll email you if one lands.
Can I use an Amazon discount code on sale items?
It depends on the code. Many discount codes exclude items that are already reduced, so open Terms on the code before you use it.
Can I combine the Amazon student discount with other offers?
Usually not with another discount code, as most stores take one code per order. Student discount often still applies to sale prices and alongside free-delivery deals, so check the terms of the student offer.
Does Amazon have app-only codes?
We don't have an app-only Amazon code right now. When one appears it shows here with an App only badge. Amazon Mobile App

Over the last two years we've listed Amazon codes or deals worth 20% or more in October. Sign up for alerts to hear when the next one lands.
Why didn't my Amazon code work?
Most codes exclude gift cards and items already reduced, and some need a minimum spend or are for new customers only. Open Terms on the code, or tap "Didn't work?" and we'll recheck it.
Are these Amazon codes verified?
Codes marked Verified have passed our check, with the date and time shown on the code. We use AI to validate that codes actually work. Codes without the badge come from Amazon itself or its affiliate programme but haven't been verified yet.
Does Voucher Magpie donate to charity?
Not on Amazon orders. Amazon's Associates Programme terms (Participation Requirements, section 13) don't allow us to offer anything, including a charity donation, for using our Amazon links. We still donate on orders from the other stores we list.
Does using Voucher Magpie cost more?
No. You pay Amazon's normal price, less any discount. Our commission is paid by Amazon or its affiliate network, not by you.
How do I use an Amazon discount code?
Tap Get code and we copy it for you. Add your items to the basket on the Amazon website, then paste the code into the discount or promo code box at checkout.
