About Athenassa
Athenassa is a small UK jewellery brand selling demi-fine earrings, necklaces, bracelets and rings online. Most pieces are made from recycled 925 sterling silver, either left as silver or finished in 18ct gold or white gold vermeil, and many are set with pearls, zircon stones or coloured enamel. Prices on the site mostly sit between about £75 and £175.
The brand was started by its founder, Hollie, while she was pregnant with her second child. She couldn't find a meaningful piece to mark the moment without paying designer prices, so she sketched her own, and that first design became the brand's mama necklace. The name mixes Athena, her daughter's name, with anassa, the ancient Greek word for queen. Collections are designed in the UK, and every order arrives in a gift box.
The range is organised by type and by theme, with heart, mama, pearl, zodiac and protection, and butterflies and animals edits, plus gift pages split by budget (under £80, £100, £150 and £200). Gift wrapping can be added for £5 an order. Delivery is free in the UK on orders over £150, and UK returns are free within 14 days of receiving your order.
