About Blue Caribe Tours
Blue Caribe Tours is a tour operator based in the Riviera Maya on Mexico's Caribbean coast. The business behind it, Blue Caribe de México S de RL de CV, says it has spent around two decades running trips in Quintana Roo and the Yucatán Peninsula. It now lists more than 20 expeditions, guided in several languages. Daily tours run in English, Spanish, Italian, German and French.
Most of the day trips come in two versions, one with pick-up from hotels in Cancún and one from hotels along the Riviera Maya. The menu covers archaeology (Chichén Itzá with Valladolid and a cenote, Tulum with a Mayan village, Ek Balam and Cobá), snorkelling with sea turtles and in cenotes, whale shark trips, boat safaris through the Sian Ka'an biosphere reserve and island days on Isla Contoy, Isla Mujeres and Holbox. If you'd rather not join a group, it also builds tailor-made private tours.
This is an overseas operator, so prices are in US dollars and card payments are taken in dollars. You pay the full amount when you book. Most tours don't include the local marine or archaeological tax, which is listed on each tour page at US$20 (or 400 pesos or €20). Children must be at least four on most tours, and pregnant travellers can't join boat trips.
