Bradshaws Direct is a water gardening specialist based at Shires Bridge Business Park in Easingwold, north of York. It says it has been serving pond keepers since 1979, and today it sells online across the UK as well as from its shop in Easingwold, which opens seven days a week and stocks goldfish, shubunkins and koi in season (in store only).
The range covers just about everything a pond needs: PVC, butyl, EPDM and stone-covered pond liners (including custom sizes), underlay, preformed ponds and pond kits, pumps, pressurised and box filters, UV clarifiers, pond vacuums from Oase and Pontec, fish food and feeders, pond treatments and test kits, netting, heaters and winter products, plants and water features. Brands include Oase, Hozelock, Velda, Evolution Aqua and its own PondKraft and Bradshaws ranges, and the site has pond volume and liner calculators to help you work out sizes.
Orders over £50 get free next working day delivery to qualifying mainland postcodes when placed before 2pm, and there's free click and collect from Easingwold. Unused items can go back within 30 days, though custom-made liners, made-to-order waterfalls and special-order parts are excluded unless faulty. Some pond liners and electrical items can be shipped outside the UK, but fish food and treatments can't.
