Why use Voucher Magpie?
Every British Council English Online deal here comes from British Council English Online itself or its official affiliate programme, never copied from another voucher site. We give 50% of that commission to the charity, club or school you choose, at no extra cost to you.
About British Council English Online
English Online is the British Council's paid online English course. The British Council is the UK's international organisation for cultural relations and education. It was founded in 1934, is incorporated by Royal Charter, is a registered charity in England and Wales and in Scotland, and has its registered office in Stratford, east London.
The course runs on class credits. A 55-minute group class with up to 10 students costs one credit, and a 25-minute private lesson costs two. Classes run 24 hours a day, and you choose the themes, level and timetable. Subscriptions include 25-minute grammar and pronunciation webinars called Live25, AI speaking practice, learning materials, and British Council badges and certificates showing your CEFR level. Silver, Gold and Platinum plans give one, two or three group classes a week. Separate products cover IELTS Coach exam preparation, intensive courses, self-study, business English and courses for companies, and you can also buy gift vouchers.
Plans renew monthly and can be cancelled at any time. Gold and Platinum include a 7-day free trial. Prices depend on your country of residence and are charged in your local currency or US dollars, so you'll see the exact price when you register.
British Council English Online returns
| Returns | Monthly subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. Classes cancelled more than 24 hours ahead return the credits, but late cancellations, missed classes and expired credits aren't refunded. |
