About Bugalugs
Bugalugs Pet Care is a family-owned pet grooming brand founded in 2020 and named after the owners' dog Max, nicknamed Bugalugs. Its products are made at the Lakeland Cosmetics factory in Workington, on the edge of the Lake District, and the brand describes them as cruelty free. Bugalugs is part of the Lakeland Cosmetics group, which also makes hair dye and personal care brands.
The range is best known for scented dog shampoos and conditioners in 500ml pump bottles, with fragrances such as Baby Fresh, Oatmeal with coconut and lime, and Mango and Banana, plus colognes, detangling sprays, deshedding brushes, glove wipes, cat shampoos and seasonal limited editions such as the autumn Pumpkin Latte range. There are also dental care products, lick mats, food toppers and supplement chews, oils and powders. Larger 5-litre shampoos are sold too, and professional groomers can join a separate Groomers Club.
You can also find Bugalugs in shops including Pets at Home, Asda, Sainsbury's, Waitrose, Boots and The Range, as well as on Amazon. Buying direct gets you Subscribe & Save discounts and the latest limited editions. Free UK delivery starts at £20.
