About Christmas Letters from Santa
Christmas Letters from Santa is a small online service that sends children a personalised letter from Father Christmas, posted in a textured envelope stamped "From the North Pole". It has been running since 2008 and is operated by WRM Media Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales and based in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. The site says it has delivered more than 154,000 letters.
You build the letter online by filling in the child's name, age and home town, where they will be on Christmas Eve, what they have asked for, a recent achievement and the name of a sibling or best friend. You can preview the letter for free before paying, and that preview matters: once an order is processed the wording cannot be changed. Extras such as good-behaviour certificates, activity sheets and sticker sheets can be added, plus a "Skip the Queue" option for earlier dispatch.
Prices fall the more letters you order, from £8.99 for one letter to £6.50 each for four or more, and delivery is free anywhere in the world. Letters are printed and stored, then posted by Royal Mail from mid-November, with a final UK posting date in mid-December. Payment is by card or PayPal through Stripe.
