About EmPowerBall
EmPowerBall is a network of friendly, weekly football leagues for adult men and women who may not have played since school. It was set up by Ivan and James to help people get active, build confidence and make friends, and the main site lists leagues in Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk, with players also mentioning groups further afield. You don't need a team: you turn up and get placed in one.
The EmPowerBall Store sells the league's branded clothing and kit. There are unisex hoodies and windbreakers, men's and women's graphic tees, caps, a mug and a water bottle, along with Legea football shirts, shorts, track jackets and rain jackets. Around the 2026 World Cup it also added national-team-themed T-shirts. Prices run from about £10 to £75.
The shop is owned and run by Focus Ecommerce Ltd, a Colchester ecommerce agency, and EmPowerBall is a trading name of that company. Much of the range is printed or embroidered to order, so delivery takes 8-14 working days and change-of-mind returns aren't accepted. It only ships within the UK. Buying from the shop helps fund the leagues.
